“Material Cycles in Transition – Strategies for a Circular Agricultural and Environmental Economy”: This is the theme of the 137th VDLUFA Congress. The association is organizing it in cooperation with the State Operating Company for Environment and Agriculture (Nossen) and the University of Leipzig (Faculty of Veterinary Medicine – Institute for Animal Nutrition, Nutritional Damage and Dietetics).

With the aim of achieving harmonised professional work, the Association of German Agricultural Analytic and Research Institutes (VDLUFA) brings together agricultural analysis and research institutes (LUFA), centres for dairy science and vocational training, university institutes, federal research centres and other test and research centres. The focus of VDLUFA is both on method development and quality assurance in the field of agricultural sciences in addition to providing a platform for applied agricultural research.
