Around 400 scientists met at the 135th VDLUFA Congress on the general topic of quality of agricultural products in the value chain: consumer demands and sustainable production. This took place from September 24th to 27th, 2024 in collaboration with the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Faculty of Chemistry and Life Sciences (KIT), and the Augustenberg Agricultural Technology Center (LTZ) at KIT in Karlsruhe.
The conference proceedings with detailed contributions to the topics and lectures are currently being edited.

With the aim of achieving harmonised professional work, the Association of German Agricultural Analytic and Research Institutes (VDLUFA) brings together agricultural analysis and research institutes (LUFA), centres for dairy science and vocational training, university institutes, federal research centres and other test and research centres. The focus of VDLUFA is both on method development and quality assurance in the field of agricultural sciences in addition to providing a platform for applied agricultural research.
